Cylinder RP Econo-Cal MSA Gas Test Standard
MSA econocal offers a complete line of span gas cylinders to verify and calibrate all instruments. The gas mixture in span gas cylinders is certified to be gravimetrically prepared, using NIST calibrated weights. The lot number and nominal value of the gas components by volume, weight percent, PPM, or volume are specified on the calibration cylinder.
Model rp and econo-cal calibration cylinders. Combination gas cylinders contain 60 ppm. Carbon monoxide 1.45% methane 15% oxygen and 20 ppm hydrogen sulfide in nitrogen. For Both the model rp and the econo-cal® contents are at 500psig and the aluminum cylinders Measure 13-3 / 4 ”x 3”. The model rp weights 1 lb. 11 oz. And contains approximately 58 liters at Atmospheric pressure. The econo-cal® weights 1 lb. 1 oz. And contains approximately 34 liters at Atmospheric pressure. Reactive gases have an expiration date listed on each cylinder.

MSA Gas Calibration Cylinders for Automatic Installation of a Calibration Gas, Status Alerts and Traceability. RFID-tagged calibration gas cylinders help ensure correct gas usage when using the MSA GALAXY® GX2 Automated Test System.

Model R

• 400 psig

• Measures 10 3/4 "x 2 3/4" inches and weighs 1.4 pounds

• Regulator matches 19L metal cylinders (red or blue); often contains a mixture of combustible gas.

RP model

• Model RP Test Kits include a regulator with a cylinder pressure gauge, a hose, a sensor adapter (for when needed), instructions, and a case for two cylinders. The Model RP Test Kit steel calibration gas cylinders are approximately 14 1⁄4 "(36 cm) high, 3 1⁄2" (8.8 cm) in diameter; Its aluminum container measures 33.6 cm (13 1⁄4 ”) high and 7.6 cm (3”) in diameter. Depending on individual pressure requirements, the cylinders contain 58 to 100 liters of a specific gas mixture.

• Regulator connects directly to cylinder with gas pressure up to 3000 psi
