Aluminized Suits For Foundry 1000 ° C

The aluminized carbon para-aramid blend combines the strength, flexibility, heat resistance, and cut and abrasion resistance of the carbon para-aramid blend, with the radiant heat protection of aluminized protective fabrics. The substrate is a mixture of 50% PREOX, 27% fiberglass and 23% aramid. It is fire resistant and the aluminum coating melts onto the substrate in a way that is not easy to peel off. On its own, para-aramid blend is best known for its strength, excellent cut and abrasion resistance, and high contact heat. The carbon core further increases the flame resistance and chemical resistance of the fabric, while providing more flexibility and softness. There are no rubber components in the fabric.

The aluminized carbon para-aramid blend shows outstanding performance in tests for EN ISO 11612 and ASTM F955 certifications. It resists both molten aluminum and iron splashes, and achieves the highest rating for protection against radiant heat. Like all aluminized fabrics, it does an excellent job of protecting against radiant heat, reflecting temperatures up to 2000 ° F. It also provides a contact heat working temperature of 500 ° F (260 ° C). As an aluminized primary protection, this fabric is an outstanding choice. The aluminized carbon para-aramid blend is suitable to be made into jackets, coats, gloves and other outer shell garments.
