Measure accurately when the light fades
The Brunton Miner's D-Light is the illuminated version of the ComPro transit, designed for easy readings in low light: mines, caves, night shifts or unlit work fronts. Press and release its button and the electroluminescent panels light the azimuth ring, base plate and bubble levels for 60 seconds: enough time to take and record the reading.
The battery only powers the light. The measurement remains mechanical: NdFeB disc magnet, sapphire bearing, induction damping and internal clinometer. It is also the lightest Brunton transit on the market.

Before ordering
- Needle balance: the needle is balanced for the magnetic zone where it will be used. For Colombia and the Andean region it is ordered with the balance for that zone; our team confirms it when quoting.
- Battery use: remove the clear tab before first use and store the transit in its case with the button facing up. Use only the Duracell 1/3N battery: other brands may affect needle accuracy.
