The 9077 is a classic military-style observation compass (also known as a lensatic). This compass is perfect for those who want an observation compass with bomber mirrors. The sturdy metal body with a long straight edge ensures easy and accurate map work. The hinged points allow the body to fold into a small 3 x 2.2 ”unit that can be slid into a pocket.
Constructed from a traditional clear base plate, but hot stamped for durability, the flat base allows for accurate drop and drop measurements at any angle (even low angles). The lid is made of PA filled with recycled glass, which increases durability and service life.
