The Guardian Heavy Duty Fall Protection Edge Series SRL is specifically designed for Leading Edge work. Its lightweight, neoprene boot cap is designed to offer increased durability as well as protection against harsh environments or accidental bumps. It also includes an integrated shock absorbing component that helps redirect forces away from the portion of the cable that comes into contact with the edge. While the ideal position for any attachment point is the head, retractable leading edge plays an important role in the construction industry, as often the only feasible attachment point is at the foot level. Most SRLs on the market are not certified for these types of applications, but the heavy duty Edge is no common SRL, and it stands up against even the toughest use.
