The Fall Protection Rebar Positioning Guard Device is perfect for work positioning applications on rebar structures. Its double legs allow workers to lean away from walls, while keeping their hands free to carry out any necessary work. To function properly, it must be used in combination with a full body harness with positioning side D-rings, so that both snap hook components can be connected correctly. This device meets ANSI-A10.32 2004 standards, which include meeting a 5,000 pound tensile strength and incorporating a grade 80, 9/32 inch or more chain. All chain assemblies are also adjustable, and a variety of connector options are available.
Characteristics:
- Allows workers to lean away from walls, keeping their hands free
- Must be accompanied by a harness with lateral positioning rings, such as the Guardian HUV-3
- Free fall must be limited to less than 2 '
