Información Técnica
TECHNIQUE:
1. Hold the laryngoscope with your non-dominant hand.
2. Paramedial insertion of the blade and displacement of the tongue up and to the left.
3. Place the tip of the laryngoscope in the supra-epiglottic vallecula. If there is no visualization of the larynx, pressing the lever with the thumb on the epiglottis will elevate allowing visualization of the glottis.
4. The short handle avoids colliding with the thoracic structures.
